PAWEF promotes accountability in public institutions and larger corporations and through that bring about a fairer balance in the availability and access of opportunities for all sexes and ages. We support victims of rape and other forms of domestic violence, and to bring about the independence of women and young persons in a bid to permanently eradicate poverty.
Things we focus on
Support victims of rape or domestic violence by providing counselling, medical support and grants.
Advance the education of young people by making grants and awards to students in full-time education.
Advance the education of young children and women by sponsoring public awareness interventions in communities with low levels of education particularly for young children and females.
You can help change the way people think about and respond to sexual or domestic violence. PAWEF provides a plaform for survivors to share their stories and educate the public through speaking events and media engagement.
